Group keeps busy

The Stanley Parents
Group has been very busy this school
year: Activities undertaken included
contributing to a school philosophy,
meetings with the external team during
its district review and with Education
Minister Tony Brummett. The

There are to be major
renovations of the school building in
the next few years to fully update the
structure. The parents group has
requested the Castlegar school board
set aside money for new equipment not

evaluate Stanley Humphries. For the
first time, the parents group will be in
volved in this process. One of the
projects will be composing surveys for
students, teachers. and the general
public

Hopefully, Stanley Humphries will
receive the highest accreditation
possible

The parents group is not involved in
any fund-raising bt exists only for the
benefit of the syfidents. All meetings
are held on the\ast Tuesday of the
month at 7 p.m. in the school library
The next meeting will be held April 25
and all parents are urged toattend
