be forthcoming from Victoria until the
new year. This means, then, that. the rate
increase will likely be one of the first
pieces .of business to come before the new
1965 council.

ers Leo Bosse and Lorne ‘Zinio and village

- chairman W. H. Reed should give very
. serious re-consideration ‘to their action in

Hey, commissioner Hughes, we think

At last week’s Castlegar council meet-
ing, Mr, Hughes suggested that: people
who write letters to the village should
be “guarded or protected” against. any.
