Leadville, Col., Jan. 20.—The final Proposition of the mine managers to the striking miners of this district, which was approved by Governor Adams and E. V. Debs, was rejected by the miners. The vote in their meeting against its acceptance was al- most unanimous. This ends all negotiations as far as the governor is concerned, and he has left for home The only change made in the propo- sition of the managers was the con- ceasion of increased pay for trammers and other outside men, predicated upon an advance in silver, and this has proven unsatisfactory to them, al- though the general sentiment in view of the breaking of the agreement in 1893 by the strike, was that the man- agers had done even better than was expected of them. , OCCIDENTAL, CoLumBIA AVENUE, Near Sisters’ Hospital.
