The Castlegar Figure Skat- ing Club will be holding a Pop Hazel Hartley passes away Hazel Helen Hartley pass- ed away suddenly at Creston Valley Hospital March 13 at the age of 68. Mrs. Hartley was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Al- berta. She and Army were married in Calgary on Oct. 18, 1941. In 1947 they moved to Rossland where they lived until 1969, at which time, they moved to Blueberry Creek. Mrs. Hartley was a mem- ber of the Selkirk Weavers Guild, enjoyed weaving, pap- er tole, bowling, sewing, knitting, and gardening. For many years she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary to the Rossland Fraternal Order of Eagles. Mrs. Hartley is survived by her husband Army of Blueberry Creek, daughter Beverley Styan, her husband ALCON Garrie and children Chris, Nadine, and Greg of Toronto; son Armand (Bud) his wife Carol, and children Aric, Sara Miriam of Calgary.
