The bride's mother is Laura Zaitsoff of Robson, and the groom's parents are Walter and Marg Scott of North Battleford, Sask. Officiating clergyman was Rev. Ted Bristow, and the organist was Wynn Scarf. The church was decorated with two large baskets of pink and white gladiolas, and large white bows marked the front pews. The groom's father and Ron Zaitsoff, the bride's brother, gave selected readings. " The bride wore a hat with a three-quarter length veil, and a satin gown with sheer overlay. The gown was floor-length, with a train. The bride's hat and dress had pearl brocade. The gown also featured long sheer sleeves, with wrist ruffles, and a high neck with pearl brocade. The bouquet was burgundy roses, white carnations and baby’s breath. The bride wore her mother’s satin wedding shoes, and her aunt's earrings. The groom wore a red serge RCMP uniform, and a boutonniere to match the bride's bouquet. Maid of honor was Erin Smythe, Quaedvlieg was bridesmaid. Attendents wore floor-length dusty rose gowns and Anne MR. AND MRS. DEAN SCOTT ...were married Sept. 8 in Castlegar. Bride wore a tloor-length gown with a train. made of satin. They were sewn by the maid of honor Both girls carried bouquets of pink carnations and wore pink carnations in their hair. They also wore pear! necklaces — a gift from the bride. The wedding cake was made by the bride's mother, and decorated by Ivy Salekin. The hall was beautifully decorated in pink and white streamers and bells, with large double hearts above the bridal couple. The groomsmen were Wayne Cubbon and Doug Dubnyk, who wore charcoal tuxedos of mohair and wool, with matching satin lapels. Each wore a satin vest and tie, with a ruffled white shirt, and a b e to match the bri id's. The ushers were Gordon Zaitsoff and Barry Plotnikoff, the bride's cousins. The reception was held in the Sandman Inn in Castlegar, where Dennis Scott, the groom's brother, was master of ceremonies. The toast to the bride was by Ron Zaitsoff, the bride's brother, and Chelsea Leask and Lana Zaytsoff presided at the guest register. Out of town guests came from B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan. The couple honeymooned in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan, and now live in Fernie. The Royal Canadian Le gion Hall was decorated in the Christmas theme when the members of Minto Chap ter No. 79 Order of the Eastern Star held its annual tea and bazaar Saturday venor associate matron Mar ion Booth.
