Six Kinnaird lads, and two
from Castlegar are among the
all-time record enrollment of 136
boys registered for the second
Boys’ Session at Camp Lourdes
east of Nelson.

Castlegar Tuesday morning after
an extended visit with Mr. and.
Mrs. I. Hoarie.

Mr .and-Mrs. Jack Pye of Red
Deer, Alta., were recent visitors
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T.
Blackburn.

Mr. and Mrs, Art Anderson ac-
companied by’ Mr. and Mrs. How-
ard. Anderson went on a week-
end boat trip to Broadwater.
Mr. and Mrs. Whitmarsh, of
Vancouver visited Mr. and Mrs.
I. Hoarie this week. Mrs. Whit-
marsh is Mrs. ‘Hoarie’s sister.
Mr. and Mrs. Syd Mills of Van-
couver, have spent the past three
weeks visiting Mrs. Mill’s par-
ents, Mr .and Mrs. Robt. Moore
of Castlegar. They also spent a
few days in Trail visiting two
sisters, Mrs. Art Kelly and Mrs.
William Forest. They are return-
ing to Vancouver by air, Satur-
day night.

A party of seven Castlegar resi-
dents took a trip up to the Sen-
tinel Mountain Lookout Post last
Tuesday. They were: Rev. A.
MacDonald, Rev. E. Wallace, Miss
Faythe Toogood, and Tannice
Barbara, Ted and Glen Killough.
Father Michael O’Rieley, pas-
tor of Our Lady of Lourdes par-
ish, Keremeos, was’ a wiek-end
visitor to Castlegar and said the
11_o’clock mass on Sunday.
Last Friday, the sanctuary boys
of St. Rita’s panish enjoyed a
day’s outing with Father Barnes,
which included a round trip
cruise on the Main Lake Ferry
and a full afternoon at the Ains-
worth pool. The boys participat-
ing were: Wayne Harvick, Rich-
ard Knoblauch, Arvi Pellegrin,
Deno Zanet, Marvin LeRoy and
Fred Teahan, a guest of Father
Barnes from Trail.
