PROGRAMMER

The City of Castlegar requires a Programmer/Oper-
ator knowledgeable with the IBM System 34/36
Computon and RPG II.
The position requires a person with the ability to ac-
commodate ongoing programming requirements and
familiarity with the operations of the computer.
A working knowledge of municipal accountin
required ‘along with the ability to communicate ef!
tively with office personnel for analysis and raining
purposes. Preference will be given to a person who
has completed grade 12 supplemented by courses in
Computon Technology.
The current pay rate is $29,575 (90 day probation
period) to $31,577 (full rate) per annum with an at-
tractive benefit package.
