large crowd that showed up
for the Friday evening bash.
I'm told · they served
everyone that attended in a
matter of 15 minutes.
Mentioning the people
responsible for putting on
this tourney is a pleasant
task. Ken Dixon and Cam
Jensen have put in a lot of
hours and expended a lot of
their own money to put this
show on the road and
deserve a lot of thanks from

Dan McFarland was everyone in Rossland for a

of Rivervale.
Both these teams became
favorites of the crowds
during the two-day tourney
and we shall be looking
forward to seeing them and
all the others at next year's
shindig. The total of 16 teams
had Vernon, _Kamloops,
Salmon Arm, Enderby,
Sparwood and Vancouver,
plus a Calgary team on hand
for the tournament as well as
several from Rossland and
despite the rude reception
they got from the
weathennan, they will all be
on hand in 1984.
