The Castlegar News ventured into the Easter egg world

Sunday, holding its first annual Easter Egg Scramble. The

weather couldn’t have been better for The News Scramble

as some 200 boys and girls combed the woods of Kinnaird

Park Sunday hunting for the elusive Easter egg.

Even the trickiest of hiding spots proved to be no challenge

for the enthusiastic hunters, as some 300 separate candies,

50 toothbrushes and 100 participation awards were cleaned

out in a matter of minutes.

The Castlegar News would like to take this opportunity to

thanks those kids that made the Easter Egg Scramble such a
