In its most recent issue of Cana dian Consumer magazine, a staff research team reported on their tests of 19 brands of white interior latex and found the most expensive paints weren't necessarily the best cover ups. At $21 for four litres for example, Sico Velvet Enamel covered better than the most expensive brand, Color Your World at $36. Even the $17 Interlux Supreme performed better than the $30 St. Clair Ultimate and a number of others. Aging has attracted the most attention in industrialized countries in ent years. But the Census Bureau report shows the majority of older people live in the countries least able to cope economically with the needs of the elderly Developing countries account for 58 per cent of all people aged 55 and over. Those countries account for 80 per cent of the 1.2 million people who pass that birthday every month, says the Census Bureau study, Aging in the Third World Over the next 30 years, the report says, the balance is to shift markedly, with 72 per cent of older people living in developing countries in the year 2020 With improved medical care ex tending lifespans, Europeans and North Americans have experienced a sharp growth in the proportion of elderly in their populations and the needs these people have medical and social services.
