Kalesnikoff Lumber of Castlegar
exited from the fifth running of the
Trail Kootenay Cowboys Gentlemens
Hockey tournament after losing 10-7
to the Trail Hawks.

The Hawks loss was the second on
the B side of the tournament for
Kalesnikoff and ended any hope the
team had of getting into the final.

The eventual B-side winners were
the Trail Eliminators (Tony’s Pub),
who beat Kalesnikoff 43 in the
second game of the tourney.

“The team played fairly weil,”’
Castlegar team rep Denis Milden-
berger said. “‘But we were lacking a
little offence. We also had good
steady goaltending.”
