Mr.’ Waldie expressed his pleasure at being present and also the congratulations of the KRC to those who worked so hard for the Fair, Mr. Ewart introduced Mr. Waldie and as- sisted with the presentations. Mrs. E, A. McDonald and Mrs. H. Johnson also assisted with: the presenting of the cups. Les Cantell, who ma- kes an “award to the SHSS stu- dent with highest number of points, was also present on the rintform to make the award. Mr. Ewart expressed the thanks of the Fair Association to all those. who had donated prizes, to the. organizations who take part in the Fair, to the exhibit- ors, and a special big thank-you to the ladies who worked be- hind: the scenes in’ the office. These ladies worked’ from 9 am.: each day: until midnight entering names, exhibits and prize money and doing the many other r jobs that: go with a Fair. ..
