"We have the Unemployment In- surance people set up here arranging for their benefits, and as we require them they will come back to work and do whatever is available.” But the shutdown of the main mill because of the hazards caused by the fire damage will “have some impact on people with less seniority,” he said. Dinning said roof timbers and large trusses are “not secure in their positions” and power has been shut off in the damaged area, Questioned on the length of time required to rebuild the two mills, Dinning said it de- pended on how much sawmill machinery would be shipped back to its manufacturers for reconditioning.
