Collier, who was the subject of Jamie Baxter's column in the Vancouver Sun on Oct. 1, has a long history of volunteer service in the Castlegar area, including the K Columbia Chil Care Society. She is also president of the B.C. Association for Community Living. HEATHER SHEPPARD of Castlegar is back home with her award for winning the provincewide Local Government Awareness Week Essay Contest.
