The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. William William Wishloff of Castlegar and the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hughes Leckie of Kinnaird. Attending the blessings at the bride's home were the families of the bride and groom and close friends. Pink carnations and white mums decorated St. David's Church for the wedding cere- mony conducted by Rev. T. Allen. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of double organza featuring a high waist and shirred bodice. The gown flared out with gentle gathers from the high waist. In keeping with tradition, the bride wore something borrowed, a headdress belong- ing to Mrs. R. Dunlop, to secure her shoulder-length veil delica- tely trimmed with petals falling at the front. She carried a basket of white, pink and yellow mums with green fern. Sister of the bride, Miss Violet Wishloff of Castlegar, was maid-of-honour with . Attending the groom were Mr. Dan Arishenkoff of Kinn- aird and brother of the bride, Mr. Louie Wishloff of Castle- gar. The brother of the bride, Mr. John Wishloff of Castlegar, and the brother of the groom, Mr. Kevin Leckie of Kinnaird shared ushering duties with Mr. John Dunn of Castlegar. Pink and white flowered hearts hall of the Hi Arrow Arms where a two-tier wedding cake with miniature bride, groom and attendants topped with a chapel of lace icing, centered the bride's table decorated with bouquets of white mums and pink gladioli. For her daughter's wed- ding the bride's mother wore a pink dress with matching coat and black accessories, The groom's mother chose an aqua gown with silver accessories. Both mothers wore mauve carnation corsages.
