Note:

English 111A and B are required courses in the first two terms.
English 112A is required in the first term.

English 112B will be required in the second term of all students who have not
reached a satisfactory standard of written expression at the end of the first term.

Unless otherwise indicated, students are required to complete both A and B sec-

tions of a course in order to receive one year of academic credit.
A language course must be taken in each of the first two terms.

A laboratory science course (A section and B section) is required in the first two
terms for the B.A. degree — Honours Course and General Course. Normally this
subject should be completed in the first two terms. Under certain circumstances,
however, it may be deferred until the third and fourth terms. (Chemistry 111AB,
Physics, 111AB, Biology 111AB and Geography 111AB are considered laboratory
science courses).
