Those . attending were Grand Lodge rep Fran Moffat, Joy Saunders, Bernice Bar- rass, Inis McAdam (PGA) Rose Soberlak, Grand Protec- tor Susan Bycroft and Semen Dewis for the Knights of Pythias. A donation of Cerebral Pal- sy was presented at the meet- ing by Grand Rep Moffat. Grand Officers elected were Marleen Powell, sitting past grand chief (Port Moody), Wendy Beatty, Grand Chief (Cobble Hill), Tommy Watson, Grand Senior (Campbell Riv- er), Judy Van Dyke Grand Ju- nior (Vernon), Susan Bycroft, Grand Manager (Castlegar), Ruth Hanley, Grand Secretary (Langley) Peggy. Graham, Grand Treasurer (Lumby), Joan Eagles, Grand Protector (Kamloops), Mary Ann Viegh, Grand Guard (Revelstoke), and Fran Henderson, Grand Press Correspondent (Salmo). PPGC Glydys Wirsch of Trail was named District Deputy Grand Chief for Dis- trict No. 1 and No. 2. On June 25, the Kootenay Temple No. 37 Pythian Sisis- ters held their final meeting for the summer. ; The meeting was held in the Masonic hall with 18 Sis- ters and two brothers in at- tendance. Prior to that meeting a no- host supper was held at the D Bar D with 17 sisters and one brother. : MEC Jan Neumann presided over the routine busi- ness meeting. Pat Verzuh gave the financial report to the end of June. Fran Moffat Grand Rep gave her report on Grand Lodge Sessions in May and Susan Bycroft Grand Manag- er was presented with a gift on behalf of the Sisters and Brothers of No. 37. Winners of the emergency response machine sponsored by Twin Rivers Lodge No. 70, Knights of Pythias and Koote- nay Temple No. 37 Pythian Sisters were Audrey Archam- bault (Castlegar) $100; Cathy Ostoroff (Grand Forks) $75; and Sandra _ _Postnikoff (Castlegar) $50. The meeting closed with MEC Neumann wishing all a happy summer. Activities will resume the first Thursday in September.
