CASTLEGAR NEWS, Thursday, May 16, 1963 Father of Local - Resident Dies Recently at Oliver The father of Mrs. Dennis Hughes of Kinnaird, Mr. Charles, Vanderburgh, passed away at his‘ home in Oliver on May 4 atthe age'of 66. Born in Nakusp, Mr. Vander- burgh was ‘well known by ‘many residents here although he ‘had made his home for the past. 17 years in Oliver as the CPR ‘station agent there, He retired in 1958, Besides his wife Cevilla, he leaves two sons, William in Brook- mere, B.C., and. Robert Gerald at Shaughnessy, Vancouver; two dau- ghters, Mrs. Donald E, Becker, Oliver and Mrs, Hughes of Kin- naird.
