JAMES SHLAKOFF .., May wedding Cou ple exchange vows Sandy Lynn Koorbatoff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Koorbatoff of Slocan Park, and James Shlakoff, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Shlakoff of Glade, were mar-, ried in May_jn the home of the bride’sffarents. The bride wore a white floor-Iength gown with a high neckline, lace bodice and a ruffled flowing train. The gown was adorned with pearls and the matching hat had a three-quarter veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses with small white roses, baby's breath and stephanotis. Her jewelry, a diamond necklace and ear- rings, was_a gift from the groom. The matron of honor, Pamela Padowinikoff and Debbie Shlakoff, both sisters of the groom from Slocan Park, wore pink three- quarter length dresses of taffeta and carried bouquets of pink roses with white car- nations and baby’s breath. Jennifer Chernenkoff, the groom's niece, was the flower girl. She wore a ruffled white dress and carried a basket of pink and burgundy silk flow- ers. z The mother of the bride wore. deep pink dress made of georgette, while the groom's mother wore a flow- ered peach dress. Traditional crocheted can- dy baskets, made by a special friend from Morelia, Mexico, decorated the bride's table. The round three-tiered wedding cake was made by the bride's mother. and dec- orated with small pink and burgundy roses. Master of ceremonies at the reception was the bride’s uncle, Bill Barisoff of Winlaw. The toast to the bride was made by Kevin Koorbatoff. ‘The newlyweds will be re- siding in Glade. Reunion holds awards The Stanley Humphries Secondary School graduating class of 1975 held its 10-year reunion recently.
