grim this year, broke the news
as gently as he could: ‘You peo-

gone full cycle and are engaged
in a war of inflation. For this
reason I'm not making the usual
announcement.

Needless to say, this an-
nouncement was not greeted

with cheers or smiles, Everybody
looked sullen, though remain-
ing polite.
