' Slocan Park Woman, = Mary F. Markin, Dies Funeral services concluded - Tuesday afternoon of last week from the Passmore Community Hall for well-known Kootenay resident, Mrs. Mary F. Markin of Slocan Park, who died. the previous Sunday in her 86th year. Mrs, Markin was a member of the Union of Spiritual Com- munities of Christ. . She is survived by one son, Nick Markin, and one daughter, Mrs, Violet Dergousoff, of Slocan Park; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Markin was prede- ceased by her husband in 1971 and a daughter, Nellie, in 1974. Interment was in the Slo- can Park Cemetery.
