Donations of a fridge from Hope and Jim Kelly, a kitchen range from Sherrel and Karl Koreen, and a double sink from Castiegar Plumbing and Heating were gratefully. received by the society and expertly installed by volunteer Jun Kelly The tiny kitchen has been transformed in convenience and efficiency Thanks to everyone who made it possible Thanks, too, to Lee down at Columbia Saws for sharpening our chainsaws in readiness for another season at Zuckerberg Island Heritage Park where Island park naturalist Doris Sweeney has spent so many volunteer hours overseeing and masterminding the groom- ing of Castlegar’s ‘jewel’ to maintain the appearance of natural trahquility.
