chosen chairman and A. C. Thomp-
son, of Rossland, secretary. The
committee on credentials was then

the credentials committee reported
43 accredited delegates in attend-
ance and nine proxies. The tem-
porary organization was then made
permanent.

A motion to torm a. permanent

Independent Labor party of British

for the party to put a. candidate in
the field was defeated and another
to nominate a candidate was unani-
