The refund is again based on a per capita basis, — Obituaries — Edward O’Neail Funeral services for Ed- ward Danie! O’Neail, 36, who died Dec. 11 at the Castlegar and District Hospital, were held last Saturday in the chapel of the Castlegar Funeral Home. Rev. Father J. S. Boyle officiated, Mr. O'Neail was born in Lethbridge on Jan. 5, 1937 and came to B.C. as the adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. Melville O'Neail of Kimberley. Upon the death of his father, he spent his early years at Tarrys at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. M. Irving. With the re-marriage of his mother to Mr. George Hegberg of Silverton, he lived and attended school there. After his graduation from high school, he served for three years with the Canadian Air Force at various bases in Ontario and Quebec. He then returned to the Kootenay-Slocan area where he was employed as an electrician with Celgar operations until the time of his death, Messrs. David Braaten, Mac Gregory, Steve Paszty, Kenji Hayashi, Seaman Dewis and Ed Mosby were chosen as honorary pallbearers. Mr. O'Neail is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daught- ers, Kelli and Eileen and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hegberg of South Slocan. Cremation followed the ceremony.
