Sgt. J.D. Hines of the Kaslo RCMP, said Leo Stalinski; 46, was found dead in his Schroeder Creek home by a friend Nov. 1. Hines declined to state the cause of death, but did say foul Play is suspected. A 46-year-old man is found dead in his home. “We aren't releasing the cause of death, but it was foul play. An autopsy has confirmed it.” Hines also wouldn't comment how long Stalinski had been dead before being found. A press release asks that anyone know- ing Stalinski's activities between Oct. 28 and Nov. 1, to contact Kaslo RCMP at 353-2225. In order to maintain the case’s integrity, Hines said little would be released about the murder at this time. “We have to maintain a few holdbacks,” he explained.
