Is not taking any now. Would not have been able to pay the Le Roi what he did if he had not specially needed that s of ore at the time. The contract between the Le Roi mine and the Northport emelte} was then read to him and he said the rate therein provided, $8 per ton for freight and treatment, was lower than the rate at that time charged but higher than the rate charged six or cight months later.
