Armstrong, a pioneer family. well known in” the’ Slocan Valley. Her ‘only brother James, was killed at Vimy Ridge in World War 1. She also taught Sunday School there, She was a 24-year member of Martha Chapter No. 24, 0.E.8., Nakusp and held almost every office during that period. She just recently com- pleted her year at Grand Ruth in the Grand Chapter of British Columbia, 0.E.S. which met in Penticton in May.
