At 3:15 a.m. a_ single vehicle accident on Highway 3, 19 kilometres east of Castlegar resulted in the driver, Allan David Carmichael of Castlegar, and his passenger Lorie Obet- koff, being taken to Castlegar and District Hospital. Reports indicate Carmich- ael suffered head it injuries while Obetkoff had arm injuries, The 1973 Datsun station wagon was westbound on the Castlegar-Salmo highway when it left the road and rolled.
