Rolland, 56, form- erly of Winlaw, died at his home March 20 in Surrey, B.C., after a lengthy illness. ~ Born at Winlaw in 1915 - the he went overseas with 109th R.C.A. Field Battery from Trail in 1939 and saw action throughout the Battle of Britain and the Europ- ean Theatre of War. While overseas he mar- tied the former Frances Strawbridge.
