Father Barnes brought this meeting to
an end. The next meeting will be held
at 8 o'clock at the home of Mr.& & MreeNe
Kuryluk.

ST.RITA'S CHURCH TO HAVE MISSION
RENEWAL MAY 22ND ~ 29TH

On Sunday April 24th, Father Barnes
announced that he had received final
word from Rev.J.O0*Reilley, the
torist Missionary Father, that
would conduct a renewal of the Mission
which he preached in Castlegar last
October. The Mission Renewal will begin
on Sunday May 22nd and close Sunday
evening May 29the There wili be morning
instructions after the 6:45 and 8:00
o*clock masses — children's mission at
4 o'clock each afternoon and the grand
sermon at 7350 each evening of the
Mission Renewale

Father Barnes stressed the importance
of this Mission Renewal for all - “It
will make the resolutions and good in-
tentions of the Mission more permanent
- the renewal is not another mission,
but a continuation of the Mission -
the renewal starts where the Mission
ended - the renewal is a time of great
graces for the indifferent - the fallen
aways and the devout Cavnolics of
Castlegar", Father Barnes stated.
Father then urged everyone to pray for
the success of the Mission Renewal and
to talk to others about attending the
various devotions of the Rénewal.

ANNIVERSARY MASS FOR FATHER ANDREWS
