On Monday, July 20, 1992, Mike William Hoodicoff of
Castlegar passed away at 67 years of age.

A funeral service was held in his honor Thursday, July 23.

Hoodicoff was buried by his family at the Brilliant Ceme-

tery.

Mr. Hoodicoff was born Sept. 4, 1924 at Thrums, B.C.

He grew up in Raspberry Village and married Polly Pod-
moroff there on January 15, 1950.

During his life he worked as'a carpenter and as a telegraph
operator for the Canadian Pacific Railway.

In 1968 he opened Mike’s T.V., which he operated until his

He was a member of the Castlegar Senior Citizens club.
Mr. Hoodicoff enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and tin-
kering with televisions and radios.

He is survived by his wife, Polly of Castlegar, one son, Wal-
ter of Kelowna, one daughter, Hazel Forry of Kamloops and
three grandchildren, as well as his mother, Mrs. Helen Hood-
icoff of Castlegar. two brothers, Alex of Castlegar and Peter of

Federal Pulp and Paper Effluent Regulations under the
