Flux is currently involved in a court case against the City of Castlegar, and the Municipal Act States that anyone involved in a legality against the city is dis- qualified from running in a municipal election. Flux consid- ered challenging the rule by using another clause in the Municipal Act which states that anyone disqualified from nomi- nating can appeal that decision in provincial court. "I was going to challenge it but the system got the better of me,’ said Flux, who claims he called the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to see where he would stand legally. has already start- ed against the city.
