In response to a request for a-report of the proceed- ings, L. Henry Moffatt, the secre- tary, handed the Recorp the follow- ing written statement: The third annual meeting of the Rathmullen Consolidated Mining & Development Co. The report of receipts and expenditures for the past year was presented by the- secretary- treasurer, showing that $19,722.97 had been spent in development upon the Maple Leaf claim, six claims had been crown granted, and suffi- cient work done to crown grant the remainder of the claims. . The company has acquired a very com- plete mining plant, consisting of a 45-horse-power boiler, one double cylinder hoist, one standard com- pressor and receiver, Rand machine drills and Cameron sinking pump, a direct actiom sinking pump and blasting battery. A well built shaft house has been erected, also com- modious dining and. bunk houses, powder house, pump house and blacksmith shop. All these build- ings are well and substantially built. Over 675 feet of development work has been done upon the Maple Leaf claim, and the company is now sinking a winze at the 66-foot level in ore which runs high. in val- ues. Mr. Guernsey, M. E., who. has lately visited the property, read a very careful and conservative re- |-“ port upon the appearance of ‘the mine and also of some of the other claims of the company. He strongly urged the sinking’ of the. winze at the 66-foot level. _The retiring directors, W. M. | Wood and L. H. Moffatt, were unanimously re-eleected.
