Govenor of Canada Vincent Massey, was worn by’ bride Kathy Salekin for her July 24th * marriage to Tom J. Tarasoff, Traditional Russian cere- monies took place at the homes of both parents, Mr. and Mrs, Willlam Salekin of Robson and + Mr. and Mrs, John Tarasoff of D. Hiebert Photo Thrums. : A special reading of “The Lord's Prayer” was given. in Russian by the groom's father during the ceremony held at the Robson Community Church at which Rev. Ted Bristow Officlated, with wedding music provided by organist Mra, Abie Safford, ‘aie Briliiant Choir ~ or sang throughout the day. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an Emplre-styled gown with full train of sheer white organza. Both the hem and train were edged in deep sheer ruffles and pink, rose appliqued ‘ribbon. ‘The gown featured a square neckline also edged in ruffles and ribbon which comprised the sleeves, The veil of her coronet. headdress was of lace, adorned with pink roses and ribbon. The bridal bouquet was of pink roses and white baby's breath, trimmed with ribbons and lace. ° Matron of honor was Mrs. Kathy Plotnikoff of Thrums and © the maid of honor was ‘Miss Tina Salekin, the bride's sister.
