LAST DANCE OF THE SEASON. : KINNAIRD CATHOLIC CLUB APPOINTS CHURCH COMMITTEE: The Kinnaird Catholic Club met on Monday evening March 21st at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Rob&nsone The clus president called the meeting to order and asked the parish priest, Rev. Jos. B. Barnes, to open the meeting with prayer. The minutes of the last meet- ing held at the home of Mr.& Mrs. Wme Robinson on March 7th were read by the secretary, Mrs. S- Gallo. A motion of adoption of these minutes was made and seconded. Business issuing from the minutes consisted of a report by Mr. Roger Archambault on the estimate costs of a spaghetti supper. The finding given by him showed that this proposed pro- ject was impractical at the present price of food. After some interesting discussion, a bingo game, with refreshments, was planned in the Kinnaird Community Hall on Saturday, May 7th, by the Club's members, 1f the hall should be avail- able. MARCH S1ST, 1949. halle Father Barnes then spoke on the urgent necessity of procuring property for the Kinnaird Catholic Church, and begged permission of the members to appoint a representative committee of four persons, whose business would be to find possible and suitable properties for the church puilding. The remarks and ideas ex- pressed showed that all present were keenly interested and knew much about the ‘community and its possibilities. The Church Committee members ap- pointed by Father Barnes were: Mrs. S. Gallo, Mrs. T. Fourt, Mr. Ne Kuryluk and:Mre Rene Archambault. - All ex- pressed their willingness to work on this Committee. .
