Deer Park Socials Many Attend CGF Nominating Meeting This district was well repre- sented at the C. C. F, ‘Nomin- ating Convention for the West Kootenay Riding held in the new Mine-Mill’ Hall in Trail last Saturday night. Mrs. Walter Ja- cobson of Kinnaird chaired the convention and received a vote of approval for the excellent manner in which she conducted the meeting. Mr.. Pat Romaine, formerly of Deer Park and now of Kinnaird was chosen by Mr. Herridge, who received the nom- ination, as his personal agent. At one point in the meeting Kinnaird’s Mr. S, C, Muirhead paid glowing tribute to Mr. Her- mendous help given by Mr. Her- ridge in the development of the Ralph West airport in Castlegar. Among those attending from Castlegar were, George Koehle, Steve Chambers, Lloyd Bailey, Mr. Heglund, Mr. Klemencic, Jack Kelly and Mrs. N. Bystrom. From Kinnaird, Mr. and Mrs, S.C.
