The final meeting of St.Alban's W.Ao
before the summer holidays, took place
on Thurs. June 2nd, at the Vicarage.
The President, Mrs.» A. Horswill, con-
ducted the meeting and there were 15
members presents The Ven.Archdeacon
Resker,was the host. The meeting open—-
ed with the Members Prayer and Lords”
Prayer. Mrae Horswill thanked the Vica:
for his kind invitation to hold the
meeting at the Vicarage.

A letter ffom the National Council fo
United Appeal for Children was read and
a sum of. money voted to this cause. The
Treasurer reported a good balance on
hand. The Dorcas Secty, Mrs-LeKillough,
reported the bale was almost complete
and would be ready for shipment in a da
or two. MrsePetts, delegate to the An-
nual Meeting held in Creston May 18th &
19th, read her report of that meeting.
Mre.Killough moved a vote of thanks to
Mrs.Petts for her report.

The opening meeting for the fall will
be held in the form of a picnic at the
home of MrseWeRigby Sept.19th.

Mrs.Horsewill presented Archdeacon
Resker with a gift of money from the
W.A. before he leaves on his holiday to
England June 20the

the Ven.Archdeacon Reskere
