From the day of firing up there has not not been a hitch or miscalculation of any kind, and much credit is due Superintendent Paul John- son for the results obtained. Mayor Scott and Provincial Constable John Kirkup yesterday about the ap- pointment of’ two special policemen. Kirkup said that as he represented the government the police were under his control and that no special policemen would be allowed to serve without his consent. The intense personal loyalty of the British people to their sovereign is the one fact above all others which this marvellous spectagle in the streets of London has imposed upon all beholders.
