Sunfest snapshots

Sunfest has come and gone, but memories of fun-filled times will remain long
after the streets are cleared of candies and the clowns have gone home.

Parade Marshal Jack Charters was also taking pictures of the parade

Even Elvis made it to Sunfest. Bumping and grinding on the float
decorated by West’s Department Store, Elvis wowed the crowds.

Despite the rain, cheerful crowds lined the walkways armed with umbrellas waiting
to get first glimpses of the parade. Parade-goers were tantalized by parade
sounds long before they caught sight of the first float.
