He was a graduate of Stanley Humphries Secondary School, having re- ceived his senior matriculation in 1965. He apprenticed in the machinist trade with Cominco and had worked with that com- pany for a time prior to be-, coming self-employed. Police said the Austin vehicle, owned by Peter White of Blueberry ‘Creek, pulled out on the west side of Blueberry Junction and failed to see the northbound vehicle which was past the intersection, The Dunlop vehicle, which sustained an estimated $1,500 damage, was atruck on the front driver's side, pushing it into the Blueberry intersection. The Austin vehicle, which sustained an estimated $1,000 damage, struck a hydro pole causing damage to the lamp standard.
