Carey Miller of Nelson and Joseph Nazaroff of Crescent Valley were married April 14 in a double ring ceremony at Fairview United Church in Nelson. ‘The bride is the daughter of Al and Kathleen Miller of Nelson, and the groom is the son of Joseph and Nettie Nazaroff of Crescent Valley. After the first ceremony at 12 noon, the couple took part in a Russian wedding ceremony at the home of the groom's parents. The church was decorated with Easter lilies and baskets of silk flowers made by the bride's sister, Debbie Ingalls. The couple were married by Rev. James Wilson of the Fairview United Church. The bride was given away by her father, Al Miller. She wore an ivory satin floor-length dress with long slender sleeves, a cap shoulder, and a bodice of ivory French lace which came to the waist, forming a soft ruffle, then flowing back in a peplin “v.” The bride also wore an oval cap of ivory satin with small pleats in the front, and a shoulder-length veil.
