It was decided to adopt a baby at the Cripple Children’s Home at Hill- . | Hall Lisinsky- Archibald Rifes Altract Wide Interest A wedding of particular inter- est to the miany friends and acaq- uaintances of the couple in this district, Vancouver and Meanook, Alberta, was solemnized in St. Rita’s Church, Castlegar, on Sat- urday, June, 21 when Pauline Archibald, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Archibald of Rob- son, B.C., was united in marriage to Mathew Lisinsky, older son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lisinsky of Meanook, Alberta. The double ring cerenfony was solemnized before a Nuptial Mass, Reverend Father Joseph B. Barnes, of Cas- tlegar and Kinnaird, officiating. The blonde bride entered the church on the arm of her father. She was attired in a Princes style dress of white lace over satin and her veil was held by a halo of lily-of-the valley. She carried a crescent bouquet of red roses and stephanotis. Attending ‘the bride was Miss Agnes Swanson who wore an Alice blue lace gown with match- ing head-dress in halo style. Her bouquet was a crescent of pink and yellow carnations. The groom was attended by Mr. Anthony Archibald, youngest brother of the bride. Her other two brothers, Mr. Pat Achibald and M. Jerry Archibald, acted as ushers. . Miss Nettlie Brodman was sol- oist amd sang Schubert’s “Ave Maria,” accompanied by Miss Shirley Berry at. the organ. Following the ceremony there was a reception in honor of the newly weds in the Twin Rivers’ attended by some forty guests. The bride’s table was art- istically decorated with silver baskets of roses and white tapers in crystal holders. The three- tiered wedding cake centred a lace tablecloth, both of which were made by the bride’s mother. The happy couple left on their honeymoon trip in the afternoon. ‘They are travelling to Vancouver via U.S. points. For this trip, the bride canged to a white gabar- dine suit with black accessories. Mr. and Mrs. M. Lisinsky will make their home at 1837 Cotton Drive, Vancouver, B.C. and bake sale at the home of Mrs. A. J. Buie sometime in Anug- ust.
