On the first day of com- petition, the Rockettes de- feated North Kamloops 2-0 and upset the number one team from Vancouver 3-1. On Friday, the team took first place in sectional play by ‘tying North Delta 1-1. Scores in the champion- ship round were 4-1 for Bur- naby South over the Rock- ettes and 3-1 for Oak Bay over the Rockettes. In their final championship game, the team defeated the North Delta team 2-0, placing them in seventh place. Kelowna Secondary School won the tournament. with a 4-1 win over Burnaby South. Congratulations to the Rockettes-on an excellent season. It is the best showing that any SHSS field hockey team has had.
