AA CASTLEGAR NEWS, September 21, 1963 Funeral planned Nicholas N. Ogloff senlor of Castlegar, passed away Sept. 19, age 92. He was born Mar. 7, 1891 in Russia and came to Canada in 1899 setting in Saskat- chewan. He married Anasta- sia Popoff in 1911 in Sas- katchewan and moved to Pass Creek in 1912. In 1919 he moved to Kyle- more, Sask., where he lived until 1942 when he returned to Castlegar. He worked as a carpenter all his life and enjoyed walk- ing. He was a lifetime mem- ber of the USCC and he is survived by one son, Nick and daughter-in-law Olga of Castlegar, and one daughter Edna and son-in-law John Kanigan of Grand Forks, and’ daughter Mary Coleman of Vancouver; five grandchil- dren, nine great-grandchil- dren; one sister, Annie Mak- ortoff of Crescent Valley; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife in 1979, one son in 1948 and one granddaughter in 1959. Funeral services will begin tonight at 7 p.m. at the fi Castlegar Funeral Chapel and continue Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Castlegar Funeral Chapel with burial at 1 p.m. in the Brilliant Cemetery.
