Ciub members get new looks Mother and Daughter's About Face was the theme of the Christian Women’s Club meet- ing Thursday evening. Put on a Happy Face was the theme for Jeannette Horning’s feature makeovers with make- up. Four women modelled looks that were designed especially for their skin and coloring, and out- fits they were wearing. A mother-daughter duo, Carolynne and Kirstin Mason, provided the special music for the evening. Inspirational speaker was Kathy Theissen from Leth- bridge. No organized club meetings will be held during the summer, but there will be a muffin potluck July 11 and a salad potluck Aug. 15, both from 10 4.m to noon at Pass Creek Park. Speaker at the July meeting will be Eunice Nelson of Wetaskiwin, Alta. The next official meeting will be Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sandman Inn, with Charlotte Dyck of Vancouver. Dyck clinical counsellor and an expert in color and wardrobe planning and self- esteem development, will pre- sent the special feature as well as be the special inspirational speaker. Reservations are essential. IN MEMORY at age 90. Mary A. Bryan Mary A. Bryan of Trail, B.C. Mrs. Bryan was born Dec. 18, 1900, at Montreal. In 1903, . died Saturday, June 15, 1991, she moved with her parents to Lardeau in the Kootenays. As a young woman she worked in Nelson and married Finlay Campbell there in 1923. In 1930, the family moved to Trail and Mr. Campbell was killed in an accident at CM and S in 1932. In 1937, she married James and enjoyed playing bridge. Ted Fedunec of Castlegar died Sunday, June 16, 1991, after Mr. Fedunec was born March 11, 1935, at Willow Trail, Alta. He grew up in that area and from 1949 until 1967 he travelled throughout B.C. and Alberta working as a faller in the woods. He moved to Trail in 1967 and worked as a faller for Hadikin’s Sawmill and Lumber and in 1968 he began working for Kalesnikoff Lumber as a faller and later as a debarkerman.
