=a C2 Wednesday, October 9, 1991 s IN MEMORY Nana Alina Phillips Nana Alina Phillips of Castl 7, 1991, at age 85. Mrs. Phillips was born Sept. 12, 1906, in Finland and came to Rossland in 1926. She married Donald Phillips on July 15, 1942, at Calgary, Alta. They lived for a short time at Rocky Mountain House, returning to Rossland and then to Castlegar in 1943. She was a member of the New Life Pentacostal Assembly and enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her husband Don of Castlegar; son John of Castlegar; daughters Anita McLeod of Ootischenia and Doreen Grewcock of Castl nine dchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Eric Holmquist of Okanagan Falls, B.C.; and sisters, Greta Haronen and Senny Friman, both of Finland. Funeral service will be held at the New Life Pentacostal Assembly on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rankin McGougan officiating. Burial will be at Park Memo- rial Cemetery.
