A Suggestion To Help Save Borrowing members are per- haps less inclined to save because they feel that they simply do not have the extra money to put aside. However,.it is truly sur- prising how even the smallest amount can grow over a_ period of time. Why not when making a pay- ment on a loan, put the odd change on your share account to provide for future emergencies; or decide to make your payments the same even amount each month by Payroll Deductions and anything. over the principle and interest be applied to your sharé capital? ie, A $480.00 loan over 24 months is $20.00 per month and on the first month the in- terest would be 1 per cent of $480.00. or $4.80. Thus the first payment would be $24.80. Now if a Payroll’ Deduction of $25.00 was made each month for 24 months there would be $60.00 added to the share capital when the loan was retired. It is just this easy. ‘Join and. save in the Castlegar Savings Credit. Union. .... (Adv.)
