This property has now reached a very important point ‘in. its history. The showing in the shaft for some time past has been of such anvexcellent grade of ore that it has been decided that a cross- cut would probably give the best resulta if run upon the ledge recently cut in the shaft, so that in all probability a shaft will be begun shortly, when even better ore than the recent $30 flnd is expected. Work continues in both the shaft and croescut, The west drift hiss aleo been worked some during ,the past week.
