Chapter holds tea

its annual spring tea April 4
in the Legion Hall.

Justine Buffett, Worthy
Matron, welcomed the guests
and explained that the pro-
ceeds of the tea would be
donated equally to cancer re
search and cancer dressing
materials.

A cancer dressing table
was supervised by Milda Os.
wald, who explained the var.
ious types of dressings made
during the regularly held
meetings of chapter mem
bers. These dressings are
made available free of charge
to any cancer patient in need
of them.

The serving table featured
daffodils and yellow tapers in
crystal holders placed on an
heirloom lace cloth with
yellow underlay. Pouring for
the afternoon was Harriet
Trotter, Past Matron of Col
umbia Chapter No. 32, Trail;
Mary Zuk, Grand Represen
tative, Edith Heslop and Mil.
