The Celgar Environmental Advisory Group (CEAG) is an independent group consisting of government officials, communi- ty representatives and interested groups who are concerned about about Celgar discharges—in the air and water. CEAG was creat- ed by the federal and provincial Celgar review panel last year in order to monitor the Celgar modernization project. an responsible for reviewing the current environmental state of the Castlegar and district area CEAG also reviews air and water quality monitoring pro grams which were initiated by Celgar, and environmental stud ies which have been generated by various government agencies.
